I tested KDC on my Windows machine using Windows PowerShell. The release binary launches successfully in the terminal, opens the dashboard, and detects my current project as Node.js. The UI is responsive, and the app runs as expected in my local terminal environment.
I also tried cargo test in Windows PowerShell, but it fails because test_support.rs uses Unix-only permissions handling, so the test suite is not fully cross-platform yet.
### Scanned Correct Root Directory & Stack
## Command - kdc scan
## Command - kdc menus

Regarding the test failure: cargo test requires a local Rust installation to run the test suite. It looks like Rust might not be available or fully configured in your system environment.
That said, your point about test_support.rs using Unix-only permissions handling is spot on—the test suite definitely needs some refactoring to be fully cross-platform.
