Is there even a way to do something similar to reparenting that works across compositors yet? There's the
xdg-foreign-unstable-v2spec but I don't think GNOME plans on supporting it: https://wayland.app/protocols/xdg-foreign-unstable-v2greatest-ape commentedon Nov 24, 2022
