• Require octane >=0.12.0 in @tanstack/octane-store (was pinned to 0.1.21). The range is open-ended because octane is 0.x and releases a new minor every few days, so a caret range would be out of date within a week. The dev dependency and the five octane examples now use 0.12.1.
• createStoreContext renders the context itself as the provider. Octane removed Context.Provider, so the old code fails to type-check and throws in development.
• Add @tsrx/oxc@0.20.0 as a dev dependency where the octane compiler runs. Octane moved it from a dependency to an optional peer, and without it Vitest and Vite builds fail with ERR_MODULE_NOT_FOUND.
• Add octane@0.12.1 to minimumReleaseAgeExclude. It was published today, and octane releases often enough that the 24-hour gate blocks the latest version.
• Changeset: minor, because the new peer range drops support for octane 0.1.x.

Notes

Renovate didn't catch this. The grouped non-major PR (#248) has been blocked since October 2025 because autofix-ci pushed to it, and :disablePeerDependencies means the peer range would never have been bumped anyway.
