Feature Request: Auto-register extensions as Agent Skills #1795
When a user runs specify extension add <ext-name>, the specific extension slash commands (for example, /speckit.jira...) are automatically registered into the AI agent's command directory.
However, if the Spec Kit project has already been initialized with Agent Skills (--ai-skills), these newly added extension commands do not automatically show up as Agent Skills, leading to a disparity.
Proposed Solution
Bring feature parity by automatically hooking into the extension registration process.
When specify extension add is invoked, the CommandRegistrar.register_commands_for_agent() step should detect if the target agent currently utilizes Agent Skills in the workspace. If Agent Skills are active, the extension's commands should be automatically registered and wrapped as Agent Skills in addition to their standard slash command counterparts.
quick look suggest it should be no problem, my #1776 should go first and then you can benefit from it (no or minimal conflicts). i will have more time tomorrow later afternoon or on saturday.
... gave it few more mins, simplest might be #1776 first, then #1787 , then #1795 (it'd use init-options infra).

@mnriem does it sound good to you?

this i think is probably because extensions somewhat landed at the same time we landed
