Point click inside a System Settings button finds no pressable element #147
Problem: in System Settings > Spotlight (0.15.0 and the #146 dev build), a pixels-snapshot desktop_click at (1020, 709) was refused with "No pressable accessibility element was found". That point is inside the AX frame of Search Privacy… (959.5, 697, 123.5×24, from desktop_wait and a scoped inspect). Clicking the same button by element ID works.
Likely area:BackgroundInputDriver.positionalClickTarget keeps the hit-test element, up to 256 breadth-first descendants, and 8 ancestors, then picks the first enabled element that supports AXPress. Spotlight settings is hosted by an extension, so the hit-test element is probably a remote host or group whose subtree or ancestors never include the button.
To do: log what AXUIElementCopyElementAtPosition returns at that point (role, pid, and whether it's a remote element), then extend the candidate walk, for example by hit-testing the remote element's process, or re-hit-testing within the containing scroll area.
